Hi Marco,
Are you using VPN? how often are you getting logged-out in sophos central?
As the default is 3 hours of inactivity until the current session expires/force logout

You can't alter the timeout.
Also, this isn't the best way to achieve this goal.
I would suggest you look into our API system: https://developer.sophos.com/
From that you could create system polling that will give you a consistent status of your account without running into the timeout of the UI.
Then, when you get an alert, you could log in and see what is happening.
