Can't cannot to Webadmin at all

Hi i just started to use the software edition of sophos firewall utm i install it using Vmware/hyper-v but when i install finished i type the Ip address it does not prompt me to the website or anything and yes i already type https in front and i even try access to Webadmin on my Host pc/Vmware to no avail.

The ip is https://192.168.2.1:4444

you have to use a host from within same subnet (192.168.2.10 for example) to connect UTM.

i already typed in the IP i configured it still wont let me sign in to the webadmin ip (192.168.2.100) already tried this and 192.168.2.1 so i already don't know how to do.

first try to ping the UTM.

If this don#t work, your VMWare/Hyper-V or Client-network-configuration is not correct.

Hi, and welcome to the UTM Community!

As Dirk said, it appears that you're trying to access 192.168.2.100 from an IP that is not in the 192.168.2.0/24 subnet.

but i when i configured the ip address / subnet mask it's already default on 192.168.2.100 and 255.255.255.0

tried a different ip 192.168.5.10:4444 and already tried to Reinstall the ISO and it still Just won't access to the Webadmin(NO certificate error) Just Error Connection.

I would not use a virtual disk smaller than 40GB. Your problem is that you're still trying to connect to WebAdmin without changing the IP address of a NIC on the device running the VM.
