SMC 9.5.2 - automatisches App-Update erfolgt immer wieder

Hallo,

wir haben den Server auf Version 9.5.2 und die Sophos Control App auf den iOS-Geräte (iOS 12-13.2.3) aktualisiert sich, wie alle managed Apps, automatisch.

Nach dem Update erhalten die Benutzer immer wieder die Nachricht, dass der Server die App gleich aktualisieren wird, obwohl sie bereits aktuell ist. Auch ein erneutes Installieren der App nach vorherigem Löschen bringt keine Besserung.

Der Server erkennt dann zwischenzeitlich, dass das Gerät nicht Richtlinienkonform ist, da die "Sophos Mobile Control" App fehlt. Kurze Zeit später ist es wieder Richtlinienkonform. Diese Spiel wiederholt sich, solange die App läuft.

Die InApp Update-Nachricht erhalten wir auch bei mindestens einer anderen App: "sh:z ePaper - Zeitungen für SH".

Could you please confirm if you are using Apple VPP and have configured the app assignment?

Hi Shweta,

yes, we are using Apple VPP with priorisation for device assignment. We are using device assignment only.

Apps for the devices will be pushed from the server or, mostly, requested for installation by the user using the app list in the SMC app. All Apps are VPP-apps and are configured for Sophos Mobile managed installation.

Hello Community,

the same here, we also get the App-Update Messages if SMC is opened.
SMC Client is 9.5.1.13
iOS Version is 13.2.3

Could you please confirm if you deactivate "Automatically update VPP apps" option, you still face the issue? This is something our escalation team is currently looking into, I would recommend you to open a support case and PM me the case number.
