Peripheral Control

Hi

We have Sophos Central in our environment.

Peripheral Control is enabled everything works as it should however we are unable to update create or delete files on our peripheral devices.

Is there perhaps a setting that we could change to help solve this?

Thanks

  • Hi  ,

Thank you for reaching out to our Community Forum. Do you get any errors or detections whenever you try to edit, create, or delete files on these peripherals? If yes, kindly share more details or a screenshot.

On your policy settings, is the Manage Peripherals setting set to "Monitor but do not block", or "Control access by peripheral type and add exemptions"? If it's the latter, kindly make sure that the access policy is not set to Read Only.

Additionally, do you also have a Data Loss Prevention policy in place?
