Mobile Security for Android - rooted

Hello, I've been using sohpos mobile security for Android for a long time.  However, a week ago, I got a new phone, a Samsung Note 8, and upon installation, Sophos claims that the phone is rooted.  This is patently not the case, as I haven't even looked into rooting this device yet.  Has anyone had an issue with this, and if so, what actions can you recommend?

Thank you.

  • Hi

Please help me with the following:

    1. What is the version on Sophos Mobile Security?

    2. What is the version of OS on your device?

    3. Is this a standalone machine?

    4. Is this the only device you are facing this issue with?
