Thank you. Your device has been registered on trial basis which is valid until 2/8/2018 and trial license is only for 30 days. If you want full license, you need to purchase it by keeping order with the partner or your reseller.

i thought that sophos home edition is free.

thats what is says on your website:

"Our Free Home Use XG Firewall is a fully equipped software version of the Sophos XG firewall, available at no cost for home users – no strings attached."

I guess you might have opted for the trial license during the registration process. Please refer to the article Sophos Firewall: How to register and activate your XG Firewall after a fresh installation. The first option should be chosen and the serial you provided should be used to register the device.
