Update doesn't seems to work.

I've set it (during setup, before a handful of days) to autoupdate.

However, this isn't the case.

How can I update manually?

PS.

1) I have the free version on my Linux box (Debian x64 Jessie KDE).

2) Reinstalling, doesn't seems to solve the problem.

3) Giving as root: "/opt/sophos-av/bin/savlog --category=update.updated" or "failed", both returns nothing.

EDIT:

Just a quick question:

Does SAV use systemd???

If so, this is the reason why it didn't update.

My box, is systemd free! :-)

  • Hi Giorgos,

To update Sophos Anti-Virus mnanually, for the computer that you want to update, type: /opt/sophos-av/bin/savupdate

To view the Sophos Anti-Virus log, use the command savlog. This can be used with various options to restrict the output to certain messages and to control the display.

    /opt/sophos-av/bin/savlog --today --utc

Note:For compelete list og the options (man savlog)
