Would the antivirus program interfere with the migration or transfer of my data to a new computer? I'm not talking about transferring Sophos antivirus; I'm talking about transferring my stuff and whether Sophos antivirus would interfere. Should I turn it off before transferring to a new computer and turn it back on afterwards?

Sophos should not interfere with the data transfer unless it finds something suspicious/malicious. I have done a lot of data transfers on my personal machines and haven't faced any issues with Sophos installed on it.
