You can try running Windows Explorer Sandboxed (Right click on your Sandbox -> Run Sandboxed --> Run Windows explorer) and try to make changes to the desired program, but that may not work Sandboxed. The best way to go about it is to make the compatibility changes on your host, and then run the app sandboxed.
