SGN 8 Touchpad / Maus funktionieren nicht

Hallo,

das Touchpad sowohl auch externe Mäuse funktionieren bei unseren neuen Notebooks (DELL Latitude e5480) während des SGN Logins nicht.

Habe den SGN 7 und 8 getestet, beides nicht funktionstüchtig.

Das ältere Modell E5470 hat keine Probleme mit dem Client.

Beide Geräte habe ich nicht in der Liste gefunden.

Gibt es Lösungen dafür?

hi Haridoss Sreenivasan

According to this link, the processor is not supported under Windows 7.
However, we have a different laptop model "Dell Latitude E5470" with the same processor where everything is working.

Hence I guess the issue is due to the hardware incompatibility.

Are the devices working well when you log into Windows?

We did have a few issues with some colleagues who installed the bundled drivers with hardware rather than just using Windows standard drivers for the touchpad. This was at the login screen too (Win 10 1511 Education at the time) Removing the drivers and letting Windows use its own fixed it. It doesn't make sense to me that the hardware would be upset by Sophos, but if Haridoss says it's possible then he knows much better than me!

Everything works fine in Windows.

It is only the SGE login that causes the problems

I know not ideal, but have you tried removing the built in drivers and using the Windows ones instead?
