Moving encrypted devices from Enterprise Console to an existing Management Center

Issue moving encryption management of device from Sophos Enterprise Console to Safeguard Management Center.

I inherited an environment that has some devices is the Enterprise Console and some in the Management Center.  Turns out i have limited time to migrate the remaining devices in the Enterprise Console or lose the ability to manage them.  As a matter of fact the feature was already shut off once and had to be reinstated, but only for a couple weeks.

Problem is, even after upgrading the clients from 5.61 to 6.1 then to 8, the Management Console will not see them.  To be honest, i am not entirely sure these two environments even share the same certs.  I have followed the documentation, however it doesn't seem to follow my situation.

Any assistance would be appreciated as the clock is ticking.
