Is it possible to exclude some file types when applied USB encryption policy?

Hi Alan,

It is not possible to exclude a specific type of file in Safeguard Encryption however, you can exclude an application or folder. I suggest that you do the following:

1) Create a new folder

2) add the files you want to be excluded into the new folder

3)create an exclusion for the new folder via policy

Thanks for your suggestion. I try to enable the policy but seem not function even I put it to high priority.

Can "File Encryption" policy override "Device Protection" policy?

File Encryption policy cannot override the Device protection policy, as the Device protection will take the priority and encrypts the data.
