Is it possible to exclude some file types when applied USB encryption policy?

Our user clients installed Safeguard Client ver. 8.00.0.251 with file encryption and data exchange features. and applied USB encryption policy as following.

How to exclude some file types for encryption. (e.g. .xls, .ppt)

    It is not possible to exclude a specific type of file in Safeguard Encryption however, you can exclude an application or folder. I suggest that you do the following:

    1) Create a new folder

    2) add the files you want to be excluded into the new folder

    3)create an exclusion for the new folder via policy
