difference between UTM and Email appliance?

Hello,

can somebody elaborate difference in detection engines/security between UTM and Email gateway? I am interested in security differences.

    There's just a couple differences I can think of.
    The UTM has an additional anti-virus engine, Avira, that can be used, whereas the email appliance only has Sophos anti-virus.
    The email appliance does, however, support our Delay Queue feature for detecting snowshoe spam.
