  • How do I add "code" to my posts (e.g. to post log files with readable formatting)?

Currently posting lines from log files doesn't look good...

    Private Setup:

    • XG: HPE DL20 Gen9 (Core i3-7300, 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD) | XG 18.0 (Home License) with: Web Protection, Site-to-Site-VPN (IPSec, RED-Tunnel), Remote Access (SSL, HTML5)
    • UTM: 2 vCPUs, 2GB RAM, 50GB vHDD, 2 vNICs on vServer (KVM) | UTM 9.7 (Home License) with: Email Protection, Webserver Protection, RED-Tunnel (server)
  • The editor doesn't have a code formatting button and I agree this is needed for our community.  In the next major release there is a new and much improved editor with the needed formatting.  Example:

Until that is released (no ETA yet), you can format the font as Courier from the rich text editor, or dip into the HTML and put the tags <code> </code> or <pre> </pre> round the text.

Demo of new editor's menu options (includes things like emoticons): click here.

  • What do you mean no eta? Why would Sophos do a major OS release and then screw up the community forums at the same time? Who made this decision? Good thing they dont work for me this would have potentially cost them their job!
