How do you access the user portal on the wan interface in XG Home software firewall?

In UTM 9 it is easy to add the wan object to the permitted networks/interfaces to access the user portal from the internet. How do you do this in XG firewall?

  • Hi,

You can simply go to https://x.x.x.x(XG WAN IP address) to get the User Portal. If you are not getting the access, I doubt you might have mapped port 443 through a business application rule.

    Thanks

  • You need to add the user portal to the WAN interface in the Local Service ACL

Administration, Device Access, Local Service ACL. then tick the User Portal in the WAN Zone.
