Web Appliance Gateway VS Checkpoint

In the Sophos web gateway documentation, he say: In your router/firewall Redirect http trafic to the transparent gateway.

I'm trying to redirect the traffic in checkpoint to the Sophos Gateway.  I don't know the procedure.

Is it with URI, CVP ???

    Hi simquest,

    I haven't done this with checkpoint myself, but the feature should be called Policy Based Routing (PBR).  You need to redirect packets with a destination of 80/443 to the appliance.  Remember, you will also need a higher priority rule to exempt traffic from this rule - where the source IP is the appliance.

    Hello simquest,

    What version of FW-1 are you using?

    The following article at Checkpoint support site, SK40348, talks about setting up an HTTP redirection for a URI resource.

    I'm less fond of this, however have you looked into WCCP? This is where you would write a redirection ACL on the switch that captures traffic on port 80, 443, 21 etc, and then sends it to some other device on your network.
