UPN support for user id

Since moving to Office 365 users are logging in with user@fqdn. Now users are being presented with the captive portal and having to authenticate using domain\user before the correct web policies are applied.

Is there any way to get the web appliance to recognise user@fqdn format when users authenticate?

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community!

The UPN is passed in ntlm auth format usually, which is handled by Windows.

The appliance itself will not recognize UPN, but rather windows has to pass it as NTLM.
