We currently have a need to install a security camera to a light pole in our parking lot that has power, but no CAT5.
What I was thinking about doing was installing an AP of some sort that allows for an external antenna. I was going to use a couple hi-gain Yagi antenna's, one mounted to the light pole, and one to my building.
Considering I might need a 2nd router hooked up at the pole location, set up as a wireless bridge, do you guys forsee any potential issues I might encounter getting the end-point router, the AP at the building, and eventually my sophos all working together? I've setup basic wifi-bridges before with cheap WRT54G units using DD-WRT (open source firmware flash). But I've never accomplished something like this in an enterprise environment before.
