Is the new AP 15 better than the AP 30?

We want to buy some Access Points for our Sophos appliance. When I compare the Access Points 15 and 30, the AP 15 seeams to be better. It has 1GBIT LAN and same max. throughput then AP30.
Although AP 30 is twice expansive than the AP 15. Why?? only because of the design?

    Just for the record.

    I have one AP30 and one AP15 running at home, but can confirm that where I have the AP15 now used to have one AP30 and this one has better coverage than the new AP15. I think the only advantage for the AP15 is the gigabit interface, but concerning the coverage is better choose the AP30.

    That's interessting. Can you specify, what "coverage is better" exactly means? Did you do some measures?

    I can give two examples, I had the AP30 on my office and in my room 6 m away and my kids room in the meedle I could have the signal strenght "good" with speed at 54 mbps and with the AP15 on the same place I have the signal strenght "poor" and the maximum speed is sometimes 11 mbps.
    Another example, on my kitchen with the AP30 I could get some "poor" signal and speed at 6 mbps with the AP15 my computer does not see the wireless network.
