So the AP100 doesn't seem that impressive. It wasn't until the last firmware 9.305 that I was finally able to connect to it using Wireless-AC. Throughput testing on the AP100 is not that great either. Our AP50 and AP30 get better throughput than the AP100. The AP100 also doesn't yet support Meshed Networking. I was told that this is a driver issue that will be corrected in a future release. Seems like they released it too soon without proper field testing.
My recommendation would be to stick with the AP50 for now.
I haven't gotten my hands on an AP15 yet for testing.
That's really disappointing. I was finally hoping to have something that is integrated and actually performs. Hopefully the firmware updates can bridge that gap.
Please keep us posted. I'm willing to make the purchase if and when it is actually worth its value.
