Separate Zone Wireless Not Getting DHCP

We created a wireless guest network following the same process we've done a million times now but for some reason, the clients aren't pulling a DHCP address from the UTM.

Currently, we have the Internal LAN setup on VLAN10 and the Guest WiFi setup as WLAN1. The APs connect to the UTM on VLAN10 and have no problem reaching the UTM.

When a user tries to connect to the Guest WiFi, they are not getting a DHCP address from the UTM. The moment we change the AP from Separate Zone to Bridge To AP LAN, everything works perfectly.

What am I missing?

  • Hi,
you answered your own question without realising it. You will need to create a DHCP server in the seperate zone.
