Hotspot with SMS Authentication

Has anyone gotten the SMS Authentication working on the Hotspot?

I'm running 9.207-18

I don't even get an SMS Authentication in my current Hotspot or a New Hotspot.  I can make it appear by stopping and Starting the Wireless Protection.  The Hotspot will then list the SMS Authentication, however it fails to send when entering your mobile phone number.  If you reboot the UTM the SMS Authentication goes missing again from the Hotspot type.

Can someone confirm that they're able to get this feature working?

  • Do you have a UMTS USB stick installed on your UTM?

  • No I do not and it doesn't indicate that an Aircard is required for this to work.  Not sure why that would be needed.  I can send SMS messages over the Internet to mobile devices.
  • As far as I know this will be a feature for the next release. This part is currently not working.
