5 GHZ not being used

Hi all.

I´ve noticed the following behaviour with a UTM 425 Version 9.113-1.

This UTM is controlling about 17 AP (using AP 10, 30 and 50).

We have noticed that some antennas (External and also internal ones) offer a very poor signal (on some cases, in front of the antenna, i´ve just "have" a trace bar on my Ipad.

Looking to the UTM interface, i see that every AP is just working on the 2.4 GHZ range (all the AP´s are set to "Auto").

I don´t if this issue is or not related to this, but i would like to understand why the 5 GHZ range is not being used on the AP´s 50 and what is the "logic" behind to "Auto" option.

As a test, i´ve tried to force a AP 50 to use just the 5 GHZ range, but for some reason, some SSID´s "go" missing after setting this option (reconfiguring it again to Auto, all the SSIDs - three currently - are "there" again.

On the Wireless logs, i cannot see anything conclusive.

    Hi Peter,
    unfortunately we have no option to force 5GHz clients into the 5GHz band. What you can do is creating a dedicated 5GHz only SSID for your 5GHz clients and force them to use it (you can set the frequency band in the advanced tab of the wireless networks section for each SSID).
