What are the APs able to do

I used to do it all with Tomato routers,

but if I can get this to work with AP30s and AP10s
well....
so
the question:
I intend to use an AP30 to replace a Tomato access point for wireless clients like laptops and phones and tablets,
but also at the same time
I would like  to replace a tomato router, configured in client-mode,
meaning that the AP10 would wirelessly connect to the AP30 as a client ( not mesh) and I would then put AP10's wired ethernet port into an 8-port ethernet switch , that would result in get all the 'switch-wired' devices on the network ...

  • It might work if you configure the AP10 in the UTM first, then while still powered on move the ethernet to the switch.

I am not sure if the AP10s send the UTM registration information over the wifi.

I have a couple of AP10s doing nothing, worth a try.
