Hello,
today I rebooted an AP10 and after reboot it does not find the UTM anymore.
I also disabled and enabled Wireless Protection again, but this also did not help.
Furthermore port 2712 is now closed on the UTM and I am quite sure that it was reachable when I initially configured wireless some weeks ago.
I think this port must be open, so the AP can talk to the UTM. Anybody an idea what went wrong and how to fix it?
I cannot reboot the UTM yet, as users are working on it.
Update 1:
In the Firewall log I see the connection request from the AP10 being dropped by the UTM firewall. I checked the port 2712 on the UTM locally itself and it is marked as listening. Then I created a firewall rule to explicitly allow traffic from the requesting subnet to 1.2.3.4:2712. Now the traffic is not dropped anymore, but the AP still keeps on trying to discover.
Update 2:
I tried to do a complete fresh config and deleted anything related to the wifi config including the "wlan0" Interface. After I tried to add the wlan0 Interface again, it was not visible anymore in the available network ports!!! I had a config backup from last night and restore that and: Everything worked again immediately. The AP10 finds the UTM immediately, no explicit firewall rule for port 2710 needed etc.
Strange...
