How to disable wifi modes

I have been doing a bit of reading on improving wifi performance. One of the recommendations is to disable "B", so you only "G" and "N" working. The article was from "The IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine" August 2012.

The question is how do I disable 802.11b on a Astaro/Sophos AP?

If I disable the feature on an AP will there be any benefit as there is on the SOHO APs?

  • Hi Emanuel,
Thank you for the update. Is this control on the road map or do I need to apply to the features site to have it included?
