no DHCP FROM AP 10

hai,

i have ASG 525 version 8.301...

i tried Astaro AP 10 seperate interface on astaro named wireless interface with ip 172.16.100.1  and Enable DHCP for this interface from astaro.

AP 10 is up get the ip 172.16.100.4 and i can connect to access point with its SSID ASG-AP but my laptop not getting DHCP from AP 10....

actually the customer has one more DHCP interfaces.....

what could be reason why i am not getting the DHCP after connecting my laptop to the AP 10....

even with  manual ip i could not able to ping the AP 10 (172.16.100.4)

    Was this configuration working before? Any useful information from the DHCP logs? 

    Can you also post the AP configuration?

    please check the attached snap... acutally i tested it in my lap with only connected to ASG 120 and direct interface to AP-10 i got dhcp and every thing but in live environment with ASG 525 i can connect to AP-10 but not gettting ip...

    i did not get any information in LOG...

    if you want to get an ip from the existing DHCP server you should change the option to : " Bridge to AP LAN". At the moment you have the option: Seperate zone

    As per the manual :

    Separate Zone (default): The wireless network is handled as a separate network, having an IP address range of its own.

    thanks for your kind reply it help me to figure out the problem but its working now internally within the LAN....

    but when i am testing this behind the red 10 not getting DHCP from astaro red interface...

    RED vpn is up and if i connect my laptop to red lan get DHCP even AP got the DHCP from astaro but if i connect my laptop to AP it not getting DHCP of the RED interface...

    hope you understand the point iam trying to explain..

    what could be the settings for using AP after RED in branch...
