Windows Vista Laptops not getting IP from Astaro DHCP

We have ASG 320 and AP30's. We have all types of devices and systems coming in and 95% connect fine and the system runs very well. It seems to be that Windows Vista Home will not connect. It will have an APIPA address and say unlimited connectivity. 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Could you please provide a few more details:

    * Versions of Astaro Security Gateway that you are using
    * Network adapters, as well as driver version of those network adapters
    * Packet capture from the workstation that is having the issue (eg. when it is trying to get DHCP lease) using Wireshark or similiar.

    I installed AP30's to replace our old wireless network.  I have two wireless networks, both being provided DHCP from the Astaro (ASG220 8.305)

    It sees the wireless network and authenticates.  In the DHCP logs I see the DHCPREQUEST and the DHCPOFFER but, the laptop never gets an IP.

    Update.  It only seems to be affecting Windows Vista.  XP and Win 7 clients seem to work fine.

    Could you please verify if the DHCP Offers are sent as broadcasts?

    It's an issue where if they connect to one wireless network and then disconnect and connect to another wireless network, the firewall still gives them the IP for the first network they connected to.

    So, let me summarize:
    Windows Vista client connects to SSID1 and gets an address via DHCP. Afterwards, the client connects to SSID2 and gets the same address via DHCP which basically leaves the client in a state were it cannot communicate in the network at all.

    In both cases the ASGs DHCP Server is used, right?

    Yes.  even doing an ipconfig /release and renew still gets me the address of the first ssid.

    I couldn't get the lease to clear even if I disabled dhcp.

    I got around this once by going to the ip lease table and changing the lease with an IP on the second ssid.  The laptop was able to function but this caused issues later when I disabled dhcp on the first ssid.  When I went to enable it again it told me that the static IP I added for that mac address was not in the subnet of the first ssid.  I had to delete the static mapping before I could enable dhcp for the first ssid again.
