Astaro AP's

Hi,

aybe you can answer this,, I tried to find it on the technical specs.  but didn't

Is the Astaro AP's 5GHz ? or dual freq. ?  If so is it possible to turn off 2.4GHz and only use 5GHz ?

the 2.4 ISM band is unfortunatley so over crowden that it has become unusable in some areas.  I need to use 5GHz since we develope 2.4GHZ ISM productsm and a lot of APs in the 2.4GHz range will not be possible to use.

Go to Astaro Wireless Security, then click on datasheet. It should have the information that you're looking for.

Edit: To be even more specific, Frequency Band: 2.400~2.484GHz.

Well the AP50 will operate in 2.4GHz as well as 5GHz (AFAIK even in parallel) and sport a Gigabit Ethernet Port. I think that's all you need toknow ATM ;-).
