Drop ceiling mount

Looking at the images of the AP30, I don't see any drop ceiling mounting clips.

Astaro should really think about including these like most enterprise wireless solutions.

Anyways, I was thinking about using something like the "Cooper B-Line BA416"

Amazon has them fairly cheap but without an AP in hand its hard to tell if the bolt on these is too long to fit under the base.

Has anybody else used a similar mount?  Or maybe comment if it looks like this clip will work?

  • Hi,
they come with wall plug type mounts, or at least mine did. Also a mounting plate which is keyed and lockable in position (not a security lock, a stop it unscrewing lock).

  • There is a base plate that is separate; it can be mounted rather easily with wall anchors, toggle bolts, or to an electrician's job box.  It's so light, I don't believe there's a need for special clips, etc. to mount it to a ceiling tile.
