Mac of AP wrong?

Hallo,

while installing aN Astaro 8 System I found out that the mac-address printed on the lable end with b1:60 while the mac shown in the astaro-interface end with b1:68.

the live-log:
2011:04:05-19:22:44 fw02 dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 192.168.26.13 (192.168.26.15) from 00:1a:8c:07:b1:68 via eth0
2011:04:05-19:22:44 fw02 dhcpd: DHCPACK on 192.168.26.13 to 00:1a:8c:07:b1:68 via eth0

Not a problem in my case but definitely not good.

It is an AP 30 V1.

This is a known issue. All Astaro APs have an MAC address range associated xx:...:x0 - xx:...:x8.

xx:...:x0 - xx:...:x7 is used for up to 8 wifi interfaces while the
xx:...:x8 is used for the ethernet interface.

So the label is not completely incorrect but it might cause confusion as in your case.
