AP30 Outdoors

Since there is no outdoor AP solution I was thinking of installing the AP30 inside a weather prof plastac box outdoors. I live in Michigan so it does get cold in winter. What do you think? Would you think it would be OK out there? Also Astaro, Do you think you will have an outdoor AP anytime soon?

    I'm always afraid of the physical security in those cases. I'm leary of putting a network connection in a place that the public (or bad guy) can get to.

    What's to keep me from taking my hammer to an outside mounted device and tying on to the dangling network cable? woo hoo, now I hook up my own open wireless box and I'm good to go. (Till the morning shift arrives and they can't get their ESPN)...

    Metal boxes would be a great Faraday Cage, so something more sturdy would be???

    I guess my 'black hat' is showing.
