AP10 behind RED split mode

Is it possible to use a AP behind RED in standard-split or transparent-split without forwarding traffic thru ASG.

    So I added the 'host' 1.2.3.4 and I was able to see my AP30 access point in the ASG software. I activated it and attached it to the RED network in split tunnel mode no issues.  I can see an SSID ame SSID guest on my iPhone, however, I can not attach to the AP30. It just hangs and eventually assigns the dreaded 169 IP range.  Am I missing something here?

    So in the RED split tunnel, I have 'internal' and 'L2TP' and 'host' which is 1.2.3.4.  There is no issues for any other devices on this RED split tunnel (hardwired) to get to the Internet or do anything else.

    Any thoughts?
