cannot edit AP30 & AP10

Hi everybody,

I have the folllowing strange issue. We have 1xAP10 an 1xAP30 connected via the network to the ASG320. After a few moments both Accesspoinst are show under the section "open access points".
The next step should be to open both of them an choose channel and location. But unfortunaly this is not working [[:(]] [[:(]]

Does somebody hava an idea what to do ???
(I have already deleted them and also remove them from the Power)

    This might be a GUI issue. What browser are you using? Also, is this ASG V7 or V8?

    Hi,
    I have removed (in error) the Interfaces (wlan0) and everything else which ist automatic created when you activate the wireless function [[:(]] [[:(]]

    Therefore I find out that both APs do not receive an IP from our internal network to which they are connected. I am not using the DHCP from the ASG  - we have one running on the DC Server.

    Does somebody have a workarount to set the APs ?? What do I need to set up, that we have a W-LAN additional to the normal LAN with the same IP range ??

    Have you removed all references to the APs?  Objects, certificates, etc?

    Hi,

    you can't really do damage by deleting things. Just turn the wireless feature completely off and then on again. The access points will show up in webadmin. The only thing you must make sure is that the ASG sits in their internet upstream. It does not matter where the DHCP server is.

    To have a simple WiFi network bridged to your LAN, simply choose "Bridge to AP LAN" mode when defining the WiFi network. You then don't need to configure anything else.
