Wireless and dhcp server

The AP110 seems to work only if you are using the ASG with the wireless subscription as a DHCP server, if you use another astaro or windows server as dhcp server the AP won't appear under pending access point.

    As long as you are pointing the default gateway for the AP at an Astaro interface that is configured to listen for APs, it does not matter what DHCP server provides the address, so long as that DHCP scope configuration includes the proper gateway info.

    To perfiden this, the ASG must not directly the gateway, but on the way from th AP to the Internet, it must pass through an ASG, even if a 3rd party router is in between.

    Ok, now it works, i think that will be better if this is specified in the official documentation. 

    It works only if the dhcp is running, the AP rimain with a dynmic ip will be a good feature the ability to assign a static IP after the configuration.

    What about wireless and ASG V8? When is planning the upgrade? I wonder if it will be available in the next 30/40 days.

    It looks like Version 8.100 will be GA next week (the week of the 20th) ... there is already a soft-release version available at download.astaro.com.  I suspect that you may be asking about the one-button upgrade supported from Version 7 to Version 8 on offical Astaro Appliances; my understanding is that the 7.509 up2date that will be released soon after Version 8.100 goes GA will be needed to jump to Version 8.100 via the one-button upgrade method.
