statuscode 504 to pubnub from Logitech Harmony Hub

What is a 504 and why are connection attempts from my Logitech Harmony Hub to pubnub being blocked?

  • Any "50?" code means that the web server doesn't like dealing with the Proxy.  The first thing to try is an Exception for Antivirus.  If that doesn't work, you must skip the Proxy.  It looks like you're in Transparent mode, so I would add a DNS Group for pubsub.pubnub.com to the 'Skip Transparent Mode Destination Hosts/Nets' list if the Antivirus Exception doesn't fix you up.
