YouTube Restriced mode via DNS

We have enabled YouTube restricted mode via the DNS method per Googles instructions (https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6214622?hl=en). It works very well, however, If a user wants to logon to youtube, I get the message from the UTM that says The content could not be delivered due to the following condition: Host not found. I'm sure it is due to the redirection of youtube to the restricted domain, but not sure if this can remedied with a filter rule. Any help is appreciated.

  • Tom, it sounds like either you have a typo in one of the Static Hosts or you're using a DNS Host instead of a DNS Group or you have redirected something that shouldn't have been.  It's difficult to analyze without seeing your config and/or relevant log lines.
