Lots of "unable to parse a http message of 97 bytes (HPE_INVALID_METHOD: invalid HTTP method)" messages ??

I am getting loads of "Lots of "unable to parse a http message of 97 bytes (HPE_INVALID_METHOD: invalid HTTP method)" messages - immediately followed by "unable to parse a http message on handler nn (Resource temporarily unavailable)". 

These have been present for months and until now, it has not cause any really obvious problems, but now one workstation in particular causes it whenever it tries to download an Nvidia driver update (which then fails).

The sites which cause it appear to be pretty random - Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Android.com, DropBox, Symantec ......

A brief extract from the log is at the end of this message. 

Version is 9.402-7. 

Does anybody have any idea where I should look to resolved this ?

    Previously my web filter was working. I have support assisting me, but I am also getting these issues along with endpoints not updating, saying failing to connect to server.
