Keyword filtering

Exceptions also work, but disabled page can be viewed in google translate (translate.google.com)

We can't disable the full website, but we need to disable this "backdoor".

Please insert a picture or two and explain this in a little different way.

Youtube is blocked (streaming media)

If it's open , it's ok

if i open translate.google.com and "translate" youtube.com, then open the translated page (on the right section)

You can see, youtube (blocked page) works fine :(

Morton, I apologize for not typing your name correctly in my post above, but I've corrected that.  I don't know how I could have done that as my maternal grandfather had the same name!

Your first example uses http, but the link from Google is https.  You will need to select one of the 'HTTPS Scan Settings'.

we're having this issue too.

We're blocking ^https?://([A-Za-z0-9.-]*\.)?youtube\.com in a filter action and to test I have HTTPS Decrypt and scan enabled on the AD SSO profile for translate.google.com, translate.googleusercontent.com and Text Translators website category but I can still access youtube videos through Google Translate.

These are details from the web filter log.  I also verified that I was using the correct filter action and the correct web profile

This is an issue for our schools who want to use Google Translate but want YouTube blocked for student productivity reasons

try to use a regex and "youtube\.com".

Just get rid of the ^ at the beginning of your REGEX, Mahaddon.  Any better luck with that?
