Web filtering with warnings not working as expected or broken?

Hi,

I'm a new UTM user with the latest version of UTM installed. I have set up the web filter for warning at shopping sites (ordering).

When I go to e.g. https://www.amazon.de UTM shows the content warning and I can proceed. But on the next amazon pages, images are often broken.

The images are loaded from another URL e.g. images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com.

I have expected, after I confirmed the warning, that I can use the whole amazon website for the next time (10 minutes?)?

Any help or ideas? If this behavier is normal, the web filter with warnings is useless, isn't it?

    Hi Felix,
    what happens when you test both links in the "Policy Helpdesk"? Are they categorized as shopping sites?
    I suggest to copy the Web Protection log entries for both links into this thread.

    EDIT: I've tested it in my network and I've the same problem. Of course, because the images loaded from images-amazon.com, not amazon.de which you have allowed. This domain is also categorized as "Shopping" and it will be blocked without prompting. I think it has to do with the way how the images are loaded.

    You can create a URL filter exception containing the domain images-amazon.com. Then Amazon.de will shown again normaly.
