How to block Periscope?

Hello!

does any one has block Periscope with Application Control?

This is a big global problem because it use a lot of bandwith.

  • Periscope is not an available application in the UTM Application Control list currently.  Depending on how it works (ports/protocols it uses for communication), you can block via Web Filtering and/or firewall rules.  You would need to determine how it works, report back here with the specifics, then we could tell you how to block it.  Do some test connections while monitoring your web filtering and firewall logs and/or contact the vendor to get this information.
