Parent Proxy Setup

I seem to be having problems getting the parent proxy to work.

I have set the proxy setting for my proxy (seemed straightforward enough), in Web Protection - Web Filter Profiles - Parent Proxies, but it doesnt seem to be routing any traffic through my proxy.

Is there something else I need to do that I have missed??

    Can you better describe your setup.  When you say "my proxy" it is unclear whether you mean the UTM or the other proxy.  What do you expect will happen?  What actually happens?

    Thanks for trying to help.

    I have got some IP's for free public proxys that I use.  If I configure my IE with the IP of one of these proxy servers, then all my web traffic from that browser goes through this public proxy.

    What i wanted to do instead was to configure the utm with the proxy IP so that all traffic from my LAN goes through one of these public proxy servers, hense me setting up the parent proxy feature on the utm.

    I have put the settings in, but traffic from inside my LAN doesnt seem to go through these proxys.  

    Does that make sense??
