What actually is antivirus proxy throughput?

I cant information on what exactly that is.

What component throughput is it regarding?
General web scanning performance? File scanning when downloading a file qualified for scanning?
What actions may be affected by slow antivirus proxy throughput?

I found that UTM 120 Firewall Throughput is 1.8Gbps, VPN is 180 etc.

But antivirus proxy throughput is 75Mbit...Not sure at what point it will affect me.
I have 80Mbit internet connection, and i may upgrade to faster.

    It's difficult to get an accurate measure of the proxy throughput as it varies with the # of files being scanned, etc.

    That said, a faster CPU will scan faster, and the UTM 120 is not very fast.
    If you're getting a faster connection, talk to your reseller about an upgrade to one of the SG appliance models.
