Application Control Youtube

Hey guys,

I can't get application control to work for blocking youtube.  I added the category, blocked it for source any.  I can still open the app on android and watch videos.  It blocks it if I open it from a web browser, just not the app.


Any thoughts??

    actually it seems like on a laptop or desktop things work good and get blocked. Even not speaking to the application control..if I just use web filtering and block like ebay, it works on a pc, but not on a tablet.  I'm using the latest version.

    mobile devices dont seem to be working with any block policy I make.

    here some web-filter URL'S for purely block YouTube in PC & Mobile Device's.

    Create Custom Web-Filter in Web->Categories->Add->

    Web-filter-Name=>YouTube-Block

    Classification=>Productive

    Configure Category=>Local

    in a Domain Section add Below URL:-

    -> www.youtube.com
    -> i.ytimg.com
    -> googlevideo.com
    -> r3---sn-cvh76nez.googlevideo.com
    -> android.clients.google.com
    -> ssl.google-analytics.com
    -> safebrowsing.googleapis.com
    -> spoc-pool-gtm.norton.com
    -> reports.crashlytics.com
    -> yt3.ggpht.com
    -> connectivitycheck.gstatic.com

     

    in a Keyword Section add Below URL:-

    -> youtube

    -> googlevideo

     

    and click SAVE button.
