Getting an iPadPro to work with HTTPS Decrypt & Scan Settings On - "Failed to verify server certificate"

HTTPS Decrypt & Scan Settings will block most activities on an Apple device.

Here is a little help if you have the same issue.

Download the "Signing CA" from your UTM and get it onto you Device.

Getting the Certificate to your Device, download from your UTM or create an Exception and disable "SSL scanning" for your favourite email sevice, and email it to yourself.

Once downloaded onto the Device, it will appear as a "Profile" under "Settings" app on the top left menu.

Open the Profile and install, will ask for your security pin.

Once installed, the CA needs to be manually turned on to trust the SSL.

Go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings. \

Under "Enable full trust for root certificates," you should see the new "profile" - turn on trust for the certificate.

Cheers

Craig
