HTTP Profile Authentication using SATS

I've got SATS setup and it's successfully recognizing Domain Users, etc. My question is, how do I get these authenticated users to be authenticated to a specific HTTP Web Filtering Profile automatically?

  • I don't know specifically for STAS....
Go to Definitions and Users, Users and Groups, Group
Are your AD groups listed?  If not then New Group, Backend Membership.  Get your AD groups added.

Assuming you now have group objects.
Web Protection, Web Filtering.  This default profile should have appropriate Allowed Networks.
Now to go Policies tab.  Click plus (top right) to add.
Name it, and select the groups you want to apply this to.
Select or create a Filter Action.

You can also select individual users, but only after the users appear as a objects.  Depending on your setup I think they might have to log in once.  If you want more "automatic" use groups.
