Site to Site IPSEC VPN, IPv6 Support ?

Hi Guys,

We are running "Direct Aceess" on our main office. We have Astaro site to site VPN link between our offices and we want to get Direct Access working there as well.

I know this is a limitation of IPv6 not able to travel over the IPSEC tunnel.

Any ideas on what we can do to enable IPv6 over our site to site VPN link ?

ASG version 8 hast IPv6 support, you can either setup IPv6 over IPv6 tunnels
or even IPv6 over IPv4 IPsec tunnel works....

so we need IPv6 on the wan side s? We just have IPv4 on both WAN sides but want to allow internal IPv6 flow for direct access is this possible ?

Yes, ASG v8 supports IPv6 O=IPv4=O IPv6 Tunnels.

reviving this old topic because i am looking for a guide aswell,

has anyone ever got it to work? we tried unsuccesfully here (tunnel broker / native / pppoe)

got it working, basicly did some wrong settings with VPN ID. Works over IPv6 for me and you can tunnel ipv4 over it.

Hi,

I also have problem with my IPSec connection (the traffic is very slow).

Can you explain us which vpn id settings you changed?
