error 789 - L2TP-Connection failed

Hi,

i have configured the Roadwarrior how was descripted in the docs. After i click to connect i get the following error:

Error 789: L2TP-Connection failed, since a processing error arose during it first safety from action with the remote computer.

On the asl I dont see in the logs.

Any ideas what i forgott or is wrong?

    I'm pretty sure the 789 Errors refer to a problem with the pre-shared key itself or NAT-T.

    Perhaps you may find some more info there.  

    Is your client XP?  XP SP2?  Are they connecting from behind a firewall device?  Is NAT-T enabled on that device as well as 'VPN pass-Through?'  What is the MTU (1365) size set to on your firewall device?

    When I ran into this issue sometime ago verifying these settings and re-entering the pre-shared key under the 'IPSEC Settings' of the security tab in my client connection properties fixed the problem.
