Site-to-Site SSL VPN no SMB connection

Hi,

I've some trouble with a site to site SSL VPN connection. There is a Windows File Server on site A (10.2.1.201) and a client on site B (192.168.10.1).

- VPN is shown green on both UTMs.

- Automatic Firewall is enabled.

I cannot access the file server (SMB) although Advance IP Scanner found a printer on Site A and I can open its status page in a browser from site B.

Windows Firewall on the File Server should not be the problem because I can access the shares locally.

I did a port scan on the file server from site B but only found port 443 and 80 open as in every other IP Address on 10.2.1.0. (including the printer)

Did I miss something?

Do I have to create a route?

  • while you are able to ping the other side .. but RDP / SMB didn't work, MTU is the problem sometimes.

try to reduce the interface MTU at one communication partner.
